Ryoko Goldston has three grown children and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her mathematician husband and a big tortoise. Her favorite scripts are Copperplate, Spencerian and French Ronde. Besides calligraphy, Ryoko loves her collection of vintage inkwells and nib boxes, and often wonders who first held them and what their lives were like.
