Carin Ford is currently the head sound engineer for the new Broadway musical Paradise Square. She studied audio engineering at The Center for the Media Arts in New York and participated in the internship program for technical theater at The Juilliard school. After completing the internship program, she was offered to take over the mix position for the national tour of “The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe” staring Lily Tomlin.
She worked on the national tours of Mamma Mia, Beauty, and the Beast, Les Miserables, and City of Angeles.
Her Broadway credits include, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Carousel (Revival), Hello Dolly, starring Bette Midler, Shuffle Along, An American in Paris, Bullets Over Broadway, Big Fish, Bring It On, La Cage Aux Folles (revival), Finian’s Rainbow, Young Frankenstein, The Color Purple (original company), Caroline or Change, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Sussical The Musical, and Ragtime (the original company). She has worked with sound designers Scott Lehrer, Jon Weston, Jonathan Deans, Peter Hylinski, Tom Gibbons, Brian Ronan, and Peter Fitzgerald.
She was also the music editor for the filmed version of The Last Five Years in 2021.
